88290003-034 & 88290012-371 Industrial Air Compressor Air Filter Elements – Chemical Plant Reactor Guardian

Engineered for chemical plant polymerization reactor compressors—handling corrosive acid vapors (HCl/H₂SO₄), catalyst fines (zeolite/titania), and high-humidity air (RH 80–90%)—these filters deliver 99.9% filtration efficiency at ≥1 micron. They block abrasive particles and acidic mists that degrade rotors in 24/7 chemical synthesis.

Tool-Free Maintenance for Hazardous Zones

Designed for rapid, safe swaps: A corrosion-resistant cam-lock latch and transparent polycarbonate window (color-coded green→yellow→red) enable instant saturation checks. A built-in analog pressure gauge (±0.1 psi) signals replacement urgency, allowing changes in <4 minutes. Their ceramic-reinforced synthetic fiber media resists acid corrosion, while a 316L stainless steel housing withstands chemical splashes and 120°C heat.

Consequences of Delayed Replacement

Clogged filters restrict airflow by 22%, hiking energy use by 7% and risking rotor overheating (repairs: $6k–$15k). Acidic mists infiltrate bearings, causing scoring (seizure: $8k+/repair).Worst-case:Unplannedshutdownhaltspolymerization,costing\ast \ast$12k+/hour** in lost chemical output. Sludge buildup shortens oil life by 45%, raising lubricant costs.

With a 3,000-hour lifespan (40% longer than standard filters) and compatibility with 40–100 HP compressors (e.g., Atlas Copco ZR 65, Ingersoll Rand P800), these elements cut TCO via energy savings and reduced downtime. Backed by a 24-month chemical-resistant warranty.
