What to check before fitting

• Housing nameplate near the ports: should show the model containing SE014…, pressure rating (return class), port size, and a FLOW ARROW.

  
  

• Old → new ruler-check: height / OD / centre-hole must match.

  
  

• O-ring colour: should be black/dark grey (NBR). If the old seal is brown/red, stop — you may need the Viton variant, not a “B” spare.

  
  

Replacement steps

1. Stop pump → open vent/bleed until pressure = 0.

   
   

2. Support the bowl — don’t let it hang on piping.

   
   

3. Release clamp band → lift element straight out (no prying against pleats).

   
   

4. Check bowl bottom for bright metal shavings (pump/gear wear warning).

   
   

5. Wipe sealing face → thin film clean hydraulic oil on O-ring (no grease, no sealant).

   
   

6. Seat element square on centre support tube → close vent slowly → ΔP indicator green, no seep.

2) RFG-536-CE-1— Duplex / Lube-Oil Filter Element (Circulating-Oil Duty)

What it is

The RFG-536 form points to a duplex filter body — two bowls + a switch handle — typically used on lube-oil / thin-oil circuits (gearboxes, turbines, compressors, pump bearings).

This is not a high-pressure pump-discharge guard; it’s a continuous-protection device so the system can keep running while one side is serviced.

• 536 = duplex body size class (fixes centre distance / bowl depth / port DN)

  
  

• CE / C portion = NBR seal (black/dark grey, mineral lube oil)

  
  

• -1 = side/index or length variant — treat as “part of the identity”; don’t drop it when reordering

  
  

What to check before fitting

Replacement — duplex method (system keeps running)

1. Rotate the handle to put the side you’re opening offline (confirm flow stops on that side by listening/feeling).

   
   

2. Open the drain on that side (duplex bowls can be tall — catch oil).

   
   

3. Unbolt the cover → lift cartridge straight out → check for bright metal shavings (bearing/journal wear signal).

   
   

4. Wipe sealing face → thin film of clean lube/hydraulic oil on the O-ring (nothing else).

   
   

5. Seat square on the centre rod → close cover → bleed air.

   
   

6. When work is complete, you can rotate back or leave as your procedure says — never leave the handle halfway.
