Two high-performance hydraulic oil filter elements engineered for return-line, suction-line, and low-pressure inline filtration on heavy mobile equipment and industrial hydraulic power units. These elements are supplied as a matched pair – 923110.0577 serves as the primary (outer) element, and 923110.0578 acts as the secondary (inner) element – providing two-stage contamination control in a single filter housing. Each element uses imported glass-fiber media with a gradient-density pleated structure, delivering high dirt-holding capacity and low initial differential pressure.

Installation & Service

1. Shut down equipment; relieve system pressure to 0 bar and isolate the filter housing.

   
   

2. Open the housing cover; withdraw the outer element (0577) first, then the inner element (0578).

   
   

3. Inspect the housing interior, bypass spring, and seal grooves. Check spent media for metal particles – copper/iron debris indicates pump or valve damage.

   
   

4. Install the new inner element (0578) – confirm flow direction (outside → inside). Then install the outer element (0577) over it.

   
   

5. Renew all O-rings/seals. Close the housing; torque bolts evenly. Bleed air at the bleed port.

   
   

6. Restart and gradually ramp up to working pressure.

   
   

7. Replace per clogging indicator or 2000-hour service interval. In high-contamination environments, shorten to 500–1000 h.

   
   

8. Glass-fiber elements are disposable – never attempt to clean.
