What it is (plain English)

This belongs to a duplex filter (two bowls + a switch handle) used on a lube-oil / thin-oil circulation circuit or a return guard — not on a high-pressure pump discharge.

The suffix T usually points to the higher-temperature seal option (most commonly Viton/FKM → O-ring looks brown/reddish).

Safe replacement steps

1. Move the duplex handle to the other side so the system keeps running (or follow your site rule to stop flow if you must open).

   
   

2. Vent / drain the isolated side (catch oil — these bowls can be tall).

   
   

3. Open the cover → lift element straight out → check bottom for bright metal shavings (gear/bearing wear warning).

   
   

4. Wipe sealing face → thin film of clean lube/hydraulic oil on the O-ring (no grease).

   
   

5. Seat element square on the centre rod → close cover → bleed air.

   
   

6. When work is done, you can move the handle back (or leave as your procedure says).

What it is

A purely internal stock number (ERP/material number). It can be:

How to qualify it (one minute)

• Check the bag/bin label (or the BOM line): does it say “element / cartridge” or “seal kit / repair kit / O-ring kit”?

  
  

• If it is an element: match it only to the housing nameplate (model + ports + pressure + flow arrow) and the old element’s H / OD / ID.

  
  

• If it is a kit: use it only for the equipment/model the BOM says it belongs to — not as a filter element.
