7. Close vent → bring pressure back slowly → no leaks & ΔP indicator GREEN

What it usually is

• A plant stock number from your ERP/BOM (not a public filter “catalog number” you can trust by digits alone)

How to qualify it (one minute)

Check the bag/box label or bin tag:

• Does it say “element / cartridge” or “seal kit / repair kit / O-ring kit”?

  
  

• If it’s an element: match it to the housing nameplate model (photo the nameplate near the ports).

  
  

• If it’s a kit: match it to the equipment tag / BOM line it belongs to.

Material No. 573083 — issue against equipment tag / housing model stated in the BOM.

If supplier treats it as an element, require: housing model + OD + length + seal compound before delivery.
