These two filter elements share the same physical footprint (approx. 74 mm OD, 120 mm length for SH74120; 52 mm OD, 359 mm length for SH52359) but serve distinct roles in hydraulic circuits. SH74120 is a compact spin-on canister designed for pressure-line protection on small to mid-size mobile equipment, while SH52359 is a long, slim return-line element optimized for high dirt-holding capacity in confined housings. Both use glass-fiber composite media rated to ISO 16889 multi-pass testing, ensuring consistent β₁₀ ≥ 200 performance.

SH74120 – Ideal for compact excavators, skid steer loaders, mini tractors, and agricultural implements where a spin-on filter provides quick service without tools. The 28 MPa working pressure allows placement directly after the pump discharge, protecting downstream valves and actuators. The anti-drain-back valve keeps the element wet during shutdown, reducing start-up wear.

SH52359 – Suited for larger return-line housings on wheel loaders, telescopic handlers, municipal sweepers, and industrial power units. Its 359 mm length provides generous dirt-holding capacity (up to 40+ grams typical) for extended change intervals in dirty environments. The high-collapse center tube withstands cold-start pressure spikes without imploding.

Installation Notes

• SH74120: Pre-fill with clean oil before threading on. Torque by hand plus ¾ turn; do not use a strap wrench on the canister. Replace when differential pressure reaches 2.5 bar or per OEM schedule.

  
  

• SH52359: Insert into the housing, ensuring the O-ring seals properly on both ends. Confirm flow direction (inside→out). Replace at 2.0–2.5 bar ΔP or when visual indicator signals clogging.
