Installation & Service

1. Shut down the equipment and relieve system pressure to 0 bar; close the oil inlet valve.

   
   

2. Open the drain port at the bottom of the filter housing and the vent at the top; discharge the oil cleanly.

   
   

3. Withdraw the spent element by its center tube; clean all internal filter surfaces.

   
   

4. Inspect the housing interior, bypass spring (if fitted), and seal grooves.

   
   

5. Seat the new element — confirm flow direction arrow (Outside → Inside). Renew all O-rings / seals.

   
   

6. Close the housing, torque bolts evenly in cross pattern. Bleed air at the bleed port.

   
   

7. Restart and check for leaks at operating pressure.
