High-Performance Hydraulic Oil Filters – Models 07063-11046 & 07063-01054

Two spin-on/cartridge hydraulic elements from the same 07063 filter family, positioned at different precision and pressure classes. 07063-11046 is a 10–15 µm return-line / low-pressure guard (100 × 227 mm) for excavators, dozers, and loader backhoes. 07063-01054 is a finer, higher-pressure 5 µm canister (100 × 210 mm) built for heavy-duty truck and mining hauler hydraulic circuits where burst resistance and anti-over-tightening protection matter.

Application Guidance

07063-11046 – Return-line or pump-discharge guard on mid-size excavators, crawler dozers, and wheel loaders where a 100 mm OD canister fits standard tank-head or in-line housings. The 10–15 µm grade protects spools and cylinders in general construction duty; 2000 h interval matches typical undercarriage service schedules.

07063-01054 – Hydraulic circuits on mining trucks, quarry haulers, and large excavators (PC360-11 / HD785-7 class platforms). The 5 µm absolute rating and 150 bar burst make it suitable for pressure-line placement or high-vibration return loops where debris from hose wear and cylinder scrap is aggressive. The torque-indicator flange reduces gasket crush failures during field service — a common failure mode on remote sites.

⚠️ 01054 is a finer, higher-pressure element than 11046. Do not substitute 11046 into a 01054 pressure-line slot (under-filtered); avoid 01054 in a dirty return-first position (will blind fast) unless staged behind a coarser pre-filter.

Installation & Service

1. Clean head/housing mating face; inspect threads and seal groove.

   
   

2. 11046: Lubricate gasket with clean hydraulic oil, spin on by hand + ¾ turn. No strap wrench on the shell.

   
   

3. 01054: Tighten to 25 Nm using the laser-etched indicator on the flange — do not exceed; the torque-control flange is the over-tightening protection.

   
   

4. For pressure-line duty, pre-fill if head design allows; bleed air at housing bleed port.

   
   

5. Replace 11046 per ~2000 h or ΔP indicator; replace 01054 per ~3000 h interval (mining/heavy truck schedule) or when bypass signals.
