These filter elements (HY10128 / SH65538) are designed for pressure‑line or return‑line filtration in stationary industrial hydraulic systems, compressor lube circuits, gearbox circulation loops, and process‑oil applications. They remove particulate contaminants and degradation by‑products from mineral or synthetic oils, protecting pumps, valves, bearings, and actuators.

Construction

Each element uses a pleated glass‑microfiber media (resin‑impregnated, β₁₀ ≥ 200) supported by a perforated steel centre tube and an outer galvanised‑steel retainer cage. End caps are epoxy‑bonded steel. The seal groove accepts either nitrile (NBR) or fluorocarbon (FKM) O‑rings depending on the variant. A bypass valve (typically 1.0–1.5 bar) is integrated in the mating head, not the element. Collapse pressure rating is 21 bar standard (31 bar wire‑back option available on request).

Technical Comparison

HY10128 (NBR, 10 µm) is suited for general‑purpose mineral oil circuits where temperature stays below 80 °C. SH65538 (FKM, 5 µm) is intended for higher‑precision systems requiring finer filtration, synthetic oils, or elevated operating temperatures.

Selection Guidance

Select HY10128 (NBR, 10 µm) for standard mineral hydraulic oils, diesel‑engine lube, and compressor oils where operating temperature remains below 80 °C. Select SH65538 (FKM, 5 µm) for synthetic oils (PAO, PAG), high‑temperature circuits (≤ 100 °C), or when tighter cleanliness (ISO 4406 ≤ 16/14/11) is required. Do not mix seal polymers with incompatible fluids.

Maintenance

Replace element when differential pressure reaches 1.5–2.0 bar or per OEM schedule (typically 2 000–4 000 operating hours for hydraulic loops, 500–1 000 hours for engine lube). Always replace the O‑ring with the same polymer as the element. During element change, inspect the bypass valve seat in the head and the test port for debris. Store in a cool, dry environment away from UV and ozone.
