Three interchangeable replacement elements for the final-stage oil-gas separation in oil-flooded rotary screw air compressors. Each model corresponds to a distinct dimensional envelope (outer diameter, height, thread/flange interface) but shares the same core technology: micron-grade glass-fiber media that coalesces oil mist from compressed air, returning lubricant to the system while discharging clean air with residual oil content typically ≤ 3 ppm w/w.
Glass-fiber media – high temperature resistance, corrosion-proof, electrostatic-dissipative design
Filtration accuracy: captures particles down to 0.01–1 µm
Initial differential pressure ≤ 0.02 MPa
Change-out differential pressure: 0.08–0.15 MPa
Service life: 3,000–4,500 hours under normal conditions
Flow direction: Outside → Inside (air); oil drains via bottom return line
Seal: NBR (standard); FKM optional for high-temperature or aggressive lubricants
Mounting: spin-on or bolt-in per compressor housing design
Parameter | Typical Value (All Three Models) |
|---|---|
Application | Final-stage oil-gas separation in oil-flooded rotary screw compressors |
Media | Glass-fiber (polypropylene or activated carbon fiber optional) |
Filtration Accuracy | 0.01–1 µm |
Residual Oil Content | ≤ 3 ppm w/w |
Initial ΔP | ≤ 0.02 MPa |
Change-out ΔP | 0.08–0.15 MPa |
Service Life | 3,000–4,500 h (mineral oil); up to 8,000 h (full-synthetic oil) |
Flow Direction | Outside → Inside |
Max. Working Pressure | Per compressor vessel spec (typically 1.0–1.6 MPa) |
Seal Material | NBR (FKM optional) |
Anti-static Feature | Metal pin / copper strip (conductive path to vessel ground) |
Compliance | JB/T 10910, ISO 8573-1 |
📌 Model differences: KD390-010, KD610-008, and KD900-018 have different outer diameters, heights, and connection patterns. Verify dimensions (OD, length, thread size / flange bolt circle) against your existing element or compressor model before ordering.
These elements are installed in the separator vessel of:
Stationary and portable rotary screw air compressors
Vacuum pump oil-mist recovery systems
Chemical process compressor lube-oil separation
Selection by compressor size (approximate guide):
KD390-010 – small to medium compressors (7.5–22 kW)
KD610-008 – medium compressors (22–45 kW)
KD900-018 – large compressors (45–90 kW)
Always confirm the element's rated flow capacity exceeds the compressor's actual displacement by 10–30 % to avoid excessive velocity, high residual oil, and premature clogging.
Stop the compressor; depressurize fully; verify pressure gauge reads zero.
Disconnect power; tag out.
Remove the separator vessel cover; extract the spent element.
Clean the vessel interior and seal surfaces.
Install the new element – ensure the anti-static component contacts the vessel wall or cover plate.
Renew the gasket; close the cover; torque bolts evenly in a cross pattern.
Reconnect oil return line and control lines.
Restart; check for leaks; monitor differential pressure.
Replace when ΔP reaches 0.08–0.15 MPa or every 3,000–4,500 hours, whichever comes first. A zero ΔP reading indicates element rupture – replace immediately.
Specify the exact model (KD390-010, KD610-008, or KD900-018) together with:
Host compressor brand and model
Rated displacement (m³/min or cfm)
Lubricant type (mineral / semi-synthetic / full-synthetic)
Required residual oil grade (standard ≤ 10 ppm / high-efficiency ≤ 5 ppm / ultra-high-efficiency ≤ 3 ppm)
Mounting style (spin-on or bolt-in)
Dimensions (OD, height, thread or flange pattern) – confirm against old element
Provide a photo or sketch of the existing element for cross-reference if uncertain. Custom dimensions can be accommodated – typical lead time 3–7 days.
All values nominal; KD390-010, KD610-008, and KD900-018 are glass-fiber oil-gas separation elements with 0.01–1 µm filtration accuracy, ≤ 3 ppm residual oil, ≤ 0.02 MPa initial ΔP, 0.08–0.15 MPa change-out ΔP, 3,000–4,500 h service life, and anti-static construction. Dimensional envelope varies by model – confirm against existing element before ordering. Replace proactively at change-out ΔP; zero ΔP indicates rupture.
