Oil-Gas Separation Filter Element – Product Detail
Oil-gas separation filter elements are engineered to remove oil aerosol and mist from compressed air streams in rotary screw compressors, vacuum pumps, and gas processing systems. They ensure low oil carry-over (≤3 ppm standard, ≤0.01 ppm high-grade) and stable differential pressure throughout service life.
Construction & Working Principle
The element consists of a borosilicate glass microfiber coalescing layer, a hydrophobic resin treatment for enhanced water repellency, an outer polyester drainage mesh, and galvanized steel end caps with nitrile or fluorocarbon O‑rings. Oil-laden air flows radially outward; fine droplets coalesce into larger ones, gravitate to the sump, and are returned to the oil circuit. Initial differential pressure is typically <0.2 bar.
