Overhaul & Service Kit – Models WS1800 & WS2200

Two comprehensive maintenance kits engineered for fixed-speed rotary screw compressors in the ~18–22 m³/min @ 7–8 bar class. The WS1800 kit serves the smaller frame (~90 kW motor, 18 m³/min output), while the WS2200 kit covers the larger frame (~110 kW, 22 m³/min output) — both common in continuous-duty plant air, pneumatic conveying, and multi-line production facilities. Each kit consolidates all wear-items for scheduled service from routine 2000-hour service through full airend overhaul.

Kit Tiers

• Tier A – Routine (2000 h / 6 months): Air filter cartridge, oil filter spin-on, oil separator cartridge, shaft seal minor kit, drain valve O-ring set

  
  

• Tier B – Intermediate (4000–6000 h): Tier A + inlet valve rebuild kit (spring, poppet, seat), thermostat valve cartridge, check valve O-ring set, V-belt matched set (if belt-drive)

  
  

• Tier C – Major Overhaul (12000–16000 h): Tier B + airend bearing set (DE/NDE), rotor labyrinth seals, full gasket kit, coupling elastomer (direct-drive units)

  
  

Technical Specifications

Application Guidance

WS1800 kit – Service on ~90 kW frames in medium-sized plants, auto assembly lines, textile mills, and food-processing facilities where 18 m³/min covers multiple production lines. The slightly smaller separator (162 mm OD) and trimmed air filter differentiate it from the WS2200.

WS2200 kit – Service on ~110 kW frames in larger continuous-duty sites: steel service centers, tire plants, cement bagging, and centralized plant-air networks feeding 50+ pneumatic points. The 182 mm OD separator and 380 mm air filter handle higher oil-circuit volume and dust load.

📎 Tier selection guide: Tier A every 2000 h; Tier B every 4000–6000 h or when separator ΔP > 0.8 bar; Tier C at 12000–16000 h, or when airend discharge temp rises >10 °C above baseline, vibration increases, or oil carryover >5 ppm. WS1800 and WS2200 share the same oil filter thread (1½-16 UN) and V-belt groove count, but separator OD/length and air filter dimensions are not interchangeable — confirm frame tag before ordering.

Installation Notes (Tier C / Airend Overhaul)

1. Lock out electrics, depressurize receiver and oil circuit to 0 bar.

   
   

2. Drain warm oil; remove separator housing lid, lift old cartridge via center bolt, replace lid O-ring.

   
   

3. Swap air filter cartridge and spin-on oil filter (¾ turn hand-tight, no strap wrench on canister).

   
   

4. Airend work: strip inlet bell, extract rotor assembly, press out old bearings with hydraulic press, install new labyrinths (rotor-to-housing clearance 0.12–0.18 mm for this displacement class), torque bell bolts cross-pattern (60–75 N·m typical).

   
   

5. Refill to sight-glass midpoint with ISO VG 46 synthetic compressor oil; run 5 min, top up, recheck leaks at operating temperature.

   
   

6. Log service tier, hours, oil batch, and airend measurements (axial play, discharge temp delta).

Ordering

Specify WS1800 or WS2200 followed by Tier A / B / C. Each kit ships with component checklist and torque-reference sheet. Provide compressor serial number and current hour-meter reading to confirm kit revision — separator lid gasket and inlet-valve spring rates have been updated on later sub-revisions.

All dimensions nominal; confirm separator OD/length and V-belt groove count against your machine tag before ordering Tier C airend parts. WS1800 and WS2200 air-filter and separator dimensions are frame-specific and not cross-interchangeable.
