Hydraulic Oil Filter Head & Element – CIS-Series Product Detail

These components (Р1404987-00014 head / Р1400009-00771 element) belong to a CIS-origin filtration series used on stationary industrial hydraulic systems, compressor lube loops, gearbox circulation, and process-oil circuits on CIS-design packages (ASU, VRU, gas-compressor auxiliaries). The head is the permanent mounting device; the element is the consumable cartridge. Together they form a complete filter station.

Construction – Head (Р1404987-00014)

Machined nodular cast iron or forged steel, phosphate/zinc finish. Features GOST/DIN hybrid inlet/outlet ports (G¾, G1, or M-thread), a factory-set spring bypass valve, a 2 mm test port (DIN 2353 compatible) for ΔP gauge, and a manual drain petcock as standard. The element interface has a seal groove accepting NBR or FKM O-rings to match the installed element.

Construction – Element (Р1400009-00771)

Pleated glass-microfiber media (β₁₀ ≥ 200), resin-impregnated, supported by perforated steel center tube and outer galvanised retainer cage. End caps epoxy-bonded steel. Bypass is head-integrated (1.0–1.5 bar), not in the element. Collapse 21 bar standard (31 bar wire-back on request).

Technical Data

Tail 00014on the head indicates a base config (manual drain, 1.0 bar bypass, no ΔP switch). Alternative head tails in the 1404987 base (e.g., 00015, 00016) would indicate auto-float drain, higher bypass, or ΔP switch port. The element tail 00771is the FKM-seal variant of the 1400009 base; the NBR version is 00770(logged earlier). Both elements share identical H/OD, media, and collapse — only the seal polymer differs.

Selection Guidance

Use 00771 (FKM) when the circuit runs synthetic oil (PAO/PAG), sees temperatures >80 °C, or handles biodiesel/HVO traces — FKM resists swell that NBR suffers. Use 00770 (NBR) for standard mineral ISO VG 46/68 where T ≤ 80 °C and cost is preferred. Ensure the head's seal groove O-ring matches the element (FKM element → FKM head O-ring; NBR element → NBR head O-ring) — mixing (e.g., FKM element on NBR head O-ring) is acceptable short-term but not ideal; NBR element on FKM head O-ring is also acceptable. Ideally match.

Maintenance

Replace element when ΔP reaches 1.5–2.0 bar or per OEM schedule (2 000–4 000 h for hyd loops, 500–1 000 h for engine/comp lube). Replace head only on damage (crack, thread gall, bypass fail) — head is permanent. During element change, inspect bypass valve seat in head and test port for debris. Dispose spent elements as oil-contaminated waste.
