Hydraulic Oil Filter Head – Product Detail

This filter head (ААР1404040-00217) is a permanent mounting component designed for pressure-line or return-line filtration in stationary industrial hydraulic systems, compressor lube circuits, gearbox circulation loops, and process-oil applications. It accommodates spin-on or cartridge-type filter elements from the same OEM series, providing the housing, flow path, bypass valve, and porting for differential pressure monitoring or drain.

Construction

The head is machined from nodular cast iron or forged steel (depending on pressure class), with a corrosion-resistant phosphate or zinc-plate finish. It features a threaded inlet and outlet port (GOST / DIN hybrid thread, typically G¾, G1, or M-thread variants), a factory-set bypass valve (non-adjustable, calibrated spring-loaded poppet), and a 2-mm test port for differential pressure gauge connection. The seal groove at the element interface accepts a nitrile (NBR) or fluorocarbon (FKM) O-ring depending on the element variant. Mounting holes conform to ISO or GOST patterns for bracket or manifold installation.

Installation & Maintenance

Mount the head on a rigid bracket or manifold using the provided bolt holes (torque to manufacturer specification). Connect inlet and outlet ports with appropriate hose or pipe (ensure flow direction arrow on head matches circuit). Install the element with a lightly oiled O-ring, tighten the retaining nut or cover to the recommended torque. Replace the element when differential pressure reaches 1.5–2.0 bar or per OEM schedule. During element change, inspect the bypass valve seat and test port for debris. Replace the head only if casting cracks, thread galling, or bypass valve failure occurs – the head is a permanent component with indefinite service life under normal conditions.
