Four precision filter elements engineered for fine particulate removal and oil conditioning in hydraulic power units, circulating lube oil systems, and engine oil circuits. All models share the same 114 mm element height platform and deep-bed cellulose media technology, but differ in filtration grade, dimensional envelope, and target fluid – making correct model selection critical to achieving the required oil cleanliness class.
Crepe-style cellulose fiber media – high dirt-holding capacity, adsorbs sludge, varnish, and oxidation by-products
Patented CNC winding & cutting process – precise, repeatable media deployment for consistent β-ratio performance
Absolute-rated filtration – 2 µm and 3 µm absolute grades available across the family
Achieves NAS 6 / ISO 16/14/12 or better oil cleanliness in hydraulic circuits
114 mm element height – compact axial footprint fits BU, SE, AL, and OSCA SU/SS filter housings
Bypass-free design – replacement possible without shutting down the main system
Fluid compatibility: mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic oil, phosphate esters, engine lube oil
Disposable cartridge – deep-bed cellulose media cannot be effectively cleaned
Model | Series | Filtration Grade | Dimensions (Ø × H) | Target Fluid & Application |
|---|---|---|---|---|
TR-20430 | M-Series | 3 µm absolute (β₃ = 929) | ∅179 × H114 mm | Hydraulic oil, mineral oil or phosphate ester – high-performance fine filtration |
TR-20470 | E-Series | 3 µm absolute (β₃ > 75) | ∅179 × H114 mm | Engine oil, lube oil, and first-stage filtration for hydraulic oil with high dirt load |
TR-19530 | — | To be confirmed against existing element | To be confirmed | Lube / hydraulic oil circuits – verify grade & dimensions at order |
TR-21200 | — | To be confirmed against existing element | To be confirmed | Precision filtration – verify grade & dimensions at order |
Note: TR-20430 and TR-20470 share the same ∅179 × H114 mm envelope but belong to different media series with different β-ratio characteristics and application targets . TR-19530 and TR-21200 dimensional and performance data must be verified against the existing element or host filter housing drawing before ordering.
TR-20430 – Deployed on:
Hydraulic power units requiring best possible particle filtration
Circuits using mineral oil or phosphate esters
BU100/200/300E, SE100–SE600, AL100, OSCA AL-series SU/SS102, SU/SS103 filter housings
Achieves NAS 6 (ISO 16/14/12) or better cleanliness
TR-20470 – Deployed on:
Engine oil and circulating lube oil filtration
First-stage filtration for hydraulic oil with a high dirt load
Same housing compatibility as TR-20430 (∅179 × H114 mm)
TR-19530 & TR-21200 – Consult factory with your existing element's dimensions, micron rating, and host housing model for correct cross-reference.
Contamination remains the primary root cause of hydraulic and lube oil system failures. These precision elements address the full contaminant spectrum:
Solid particles – absolute-rated cellulose media traps abrasive particles down to 2–3 µm
Sludge & varnish – special cellulose material adsorbs oxidation residues that conventional glass-fiber elements miss
Water traces – media absorbs free and emulsified water in industrial oils
The deep-bed axial media buildup creates a three-zone capture profile – coarse particles retained at the upstream face, finer particles captured deeper in the bed, and ultra-fine particles trapped in the compressed downstream section.
Mineral hydraulic oil (ISO HM, HV) – standard compatibility
Synthetic hydraulic fluids – verify media compatibility
Phosphate esters (HFDR) – TR-20430 validated for phosphate ester service
Engine crankcase oil and circulating lube oil – TR-20470 optimized for these fluids
Water-glycol (HFC) – consult factory; dedicated WG-series elements are available for this fluid
⚠️ TR-20430 and TR-20470 are not interchangeable despite sharing the same dimensions. TR-20430 (M-Series) is engineered for hydraulic oil fine filtration with β₃ = 929 and NAS 6 capability. TR-20470 (E-Series) is optimized for engine oil, lube oil, and high-dirt-load hydraulic pre-filtration with different β-ratio characteristics . Selecting the wrong grade compromises cleanliness targets or dirt-holding capacity.
Isolate the filter housing from system pressure; confirm zero differential pressure.
Open the housing cover; withdraw the spent element.
Inspect the housing interior for sludge accumulation – heavy sludge indicates the need for reservoir cleaning.
Seat the new element vertically – confirm correct orientation for axial flow.
Renew all gaskets and O-rings; ensure a perfect seal.
Close the housing; torque fasteners evenly per specification.
Restart the system; monitor differential pressure.
Typical service life: ~2,600 operating hours; 2–3 elements per year under normal duty.
Bypass-free design enables replacement without stopping the main system.
Elements are disposable – deep-bed cellulose media cannot be effectively cleaned.
Specify the exact model (TR-20430 / TR-20470 / TR-19530 / TR-21200) together with:
Fluid type (mineral hydraulic oil / phosphate ester / engine oil / lube oil / synthetic)
Required cleanliness target (NAS 6 / ISO 16/14/12 or better)
Required micron rating (2 µm or 3 µm absolute)
Host filter housing model (BU / SE / AL / OSCA SU-SS series)
Element dimensions (OD × 114 mm height) – confirm against existing element
Operating temperature and pressure of the circuit
Provide your existing element's dimensions or the host filter housing model for cross-reference confirmation. Custom configurations are available on request.
All values nominal; TR-20430 is an M-Series M100 element, ∅179 × H114 mm, 3 µm absolute (β₃ = 929), for hydraulic oil (mineral or phosphate ester), achieving NAS 6 / ISO 16/14/12 or better . TR-20470 is an E-Series E100 element, ∅179 × H114 mm, 3 µm absolute (β₃ > 75), for engine oil, lube oil, and high-dirt-load hydraulic pre-filtration . Both share the 114 mm element height platform with bypass-free design and deep-bed cellulose media. TR-19530 and TR-21200 dimensional and performance data must be verified against the existing element before ordering. Typical service life ~2,600 hours; elements are disposable. All models comply with ISO 16889 β-ratio testing methodology. Select per fluid type and cleanliness target – TR-20430 for hydraulic oil fine filtration, TR-20470 for engine/lube oil service.
